How it Works SkyBell is easy to use. When a visitor comes to your door, they'll press the button on the front of the device, just like your current door bell. This prompts an alert on your mobile device and you can accept or decline the call. If you accept, you'll see a video feed on your screen and you can see, hear and speak to your visitor. At the same time, your visitor will hear you through the speaker on the SkyBell device. You can receive the video feed on your smartphone over 4G, LTE and Wi-Fi. You will also be able to hear your analog wired doorbell chime and you can disable the home doorbell chime from the app. SkyBell requires full time, direct power from a low-voltage transformer (12-36 VAC or 12 VDC) and connection to a wired, analog doorbell chime.
