Easily hang a gate from a metal T-post with our patented Hinge Pins. Hang and hold any farm or garden gate with 5/8” or 3/4" hinge eyes from a standard Metal T-post. Each Hinge Pin set consists of a bottom and a top hinge pin. Bottom pin slides onto T-post, tilts 45º, and locks above a knob on the T-post. (See drawing ). Bottom pin comes with large washer to make for an easy swing of the gate. The top pin slides onto T-post, with pin facing down, rests UNDER a knob of T-post, locks into position when weight of gate is applied. This position will not allow the gate to be lifted off its hinges should an animal’s head get under the gate. On Garden Gate the upper pin may be placed - pin up - and rest on TOP of a knob on T post. Pins are made super strong out of 5/16” steel, painted and powder coated, and will allow gate to swing 200+º.
