The Tefen hex nipple pipe fitting is made of gray nylon 6-6 and has male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connections. This hex nipple fitting is a short length of pipe with threaded ends for connecting threaded pipes, and it has a hexagonal section in the middle for an increased bearing surface when adjusting the fitting with a wrench. It has male NPT threads for connecting to female threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads.
