About this product
US military armorers called on Tipton to provide cleaning rods that would clean service rifles in demanding conditions. These carbon fiber rods are “deluxe” because they feature an ergonomically designed handle that spins on two sets of ball bearings resulting in a rod that smoothly follows the rifling both pushing and pulling. The “shank-through” construction allows for reasonable hammer blows to the end of the rod to get a tight patch through a bore. Available in 4 dia. and 6 lengths. Rifle and handgun rods are 8-32 threaded, 17 cal and 20 cal are 5-40 threaded. Shotgun are threaded 5/16″-27.
