Every flake of Uncle Sam cereal is made from an entire wheat berry, or kernel, that has been steam cooked, rolled into a flake and toasted. Whole flaxseeds add heart-friendly omega-3s and lignans. Uncle Sam cereal is ready to eat right from the box, but it can also be enjoyed as a hearty hot cereal. Just pour a serving of Uncle Sam cereal into a microwave-safe bowl, sweeten to taste, cover with milk, and microwave for one to two minutes.
