The thermocouple’s fold out probe allows for easy temperature measurements from foods that require core temperatures readings like meats; the infrared thermometer provides quick and accurate surface temperature readings. The thermocouple has a temperature range of -67°F to 626°F/-55°C to 330°C and the infrared thermometer has a temperature range of -67°F to 482°F/-55°C to 250°C. The thermocouple thermometer also has a 0. 5°F (or 0. 2°C) resolution and a 3: 1 distance-to-spot ratio. This feature rich kitchen tool also has min/max and hold functions, auto-off to preserve battery life, a HACCP pass/fail light system to notify the user of potential violations and an IP65 rating. The thermocouple thermometer also comes with a convenient black nylon storage case.
